Stitches Used/Abbreviations 

(US standard) 

st/sts – stitch/es 

ch – chain/s 

sl st – slip stitch 

sc – single crochet 

dc – double crochet 

tr – treble crochet 

inc – increase: crochet 2 stitches in 1 stitch 

dec – decrease: crochet 2 stitches together as 1 sc 

(…) – number of stitches in a row/round 

(…)* – repeat the stitches in brackets the specified number of times 

f/o – fasten off 

All parts are crocheted in spiral rounds, if not specified otherwise. It’s recommended to use a stitch marker or contrasting thread to mark rounds. 

Fruit 

Use hazelnut (Scheepjes Catona Hazelnut 503) 

1) 6 sc in a magic ring. 

2) 6 sc. 

3) (inc)*6 (12). 

4) 12 sc.

6) (2 sc, inc)*6 (24).

8-10) 30 sc.

Sew random dots into the strawberry. Use white/light yellow yarn (Scheepjes Candle Light 101).

Fill the strawberry with Fiberfill

Cut the thread 

Leaf 

Use green (Scheepjes Catona Forest Green 412) 

1) 5 sc in a magic ring. 

2) 4 ch, return, 1 sl st. in 2nd st. of chain, 1 sl st. in 3rd st. of chain, 1 sl st. in 4th st. of chain, 1 sc in base stitch of 5 sc round.  

3) (1 sl st in next stich of 5 sc round, 4 ch, return, 1 sl st. in 2nd st. of chain, 1 sl st. in 3rd st. of chain, 1 sl st. in 4th st. of chain, 1 sc in base stitch of 5 sc round) repeat 3 times. 

Sew leaf on top of strawberry
